Second Annual Praise Band Festival to be Held at Village at Wexford

Hilton Head Island, SC, August 23, 2010:  The Village at Wexford announced today that the date of its second annual “Make a Joyful Noise”, praise band festival will be October 16, 2010.  The music will start at 11:30 AM and continue on two stages until 4:00 PM.  The festival will feature praise bands from throughout the area as well as food and an open house in the shops at the Village at Wexford.  This year’s event will be similar to the very successful inaugural praise band festival held last year.  The bands scheduled for this year include; Saint Luke’s Church, First Baptist Church, Tim Malchak of first Presbyterian Church, The Harbor and Grace Community Church.  The festival is free and open to all ages.  There will be an opportunity to vote for your favorite band and the winners will be crowned Hilton Head’s best praise band.

“We were very happy with that last year’s event” said Wally Smith president of Village at Wexford Merchants Association “We hope to grow this event into an important date in the fall calendar for Hilton Head Island.”.  Last year over 750 people joined the praise bands and merchants for singing and enjoying a beautiful day.
